    I wonder how absolutely our old friend Lao intended his assertion.

    It seems that it is just as likely that ignorance of beauty (at least on the part of some) would lead to ugliness (though not necessarily). The same seems to hold for good/evil.

    Thoughts?

    There is only beauty. Ugliness only exist in the mind of someone who doesn’t see beauty.
